All jumpers must be 18 years of age or older and weigh no more than 220 pounds. Every parachute system has a maximum weight it is rated to carry in order to function properly and safely. Weight limits are strictly enforced and everyone is weighed prior to jumping to ensure safety.
Consumption of drugs or alcohol prior to making a skydive is strictly forbidden and honestly, it is more likely to ruin your experience than enhance it. Arrive sober and take in the whole experience.
If the weather is great, you should plan to spend 1-3 hours with us depending upon the size of your group. However, weather delays are always possible when skydiving.
We don't jump in dangerous winds, overcast skies or any conditions that push the limits of completing a jump safely. We can't control the weather, but we can make good decisions about the conditions in which we choose to conduct operations.
When you arrive it's time to fill out the necessary paperwork and watch an orientation video. One of our USPA Instructors will train you on the equipment and technique for tandem parachute freefall. You will get geared up with a jumpsuit, harness, and goggles.
On the way to exit altitude your instructor will go over the skydive again, answer any questions you may have, and prepare the equipment for your adventure.
Once you are securely attached to your instructor, the door will be opened and you will move to the edge of the door and then it's… READY… SET… GO!!!
The free-fall portion of your skydive is an exhilarating 45 seconds of 120 M.P.H. free-fall where you and your instructor will perform turning maneuvers and at the appropriate altitude, your instructor will open your parachute.
When your instructor opens the parachute, the free-fall is over but the adventure is not. After about a 5-minute scenic parachute ride you and your instructor will land back where it all began.
There isn't much preparation needed to come make your skydive. We recommend soft-soled closed-toed (tennis) shoes and comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather. Loose or stretchy clothing is the best for your comfort. You will have the option to wear one of our jumpsuits. Drink plenty of water and eat normally the day of your skydive. Medium or long hair will need to be but in a braid, bun or in some way restrained.
Things to avoid:
There are a number of convenient ways to book your tandem skydive:
What if I chicken out? First, the vast majority of people go through with their skydive and love it. If you decide not to jump while still on the ground, we will provide you with a refund. If you decide not to jump while in the aircraft, we will not provide any type of refund.
What if I can't jump? In the unfortunate circumstance that we can't jump due to weather, your availability or other reasons, we are happy to rebook your skydive to another time or provide you a refund.
YES!!! We are excited to guide you along the path to becoming a USPA licensed skydiver. Our facility is a USPA designated training center and provides Accelerated Free-Fall training (AFF). You will start with a First Jump Course and then learn to skydive solo under direct supervision of our professional instructors.
